You can continue printing with the same toner after 1,000 pages by activating the “Continue Mode” function.

For printers HL-L1240W & HL-L1242W:

To continue printing after the LED indicators show Replace Toner:

1. Press the Power () button seven times to enter “Continue Mode”.

2. All LED lights will blink twice, and then the Ready () light will turn on.

For printers DCP-L1640W, DCP-L1642W & DCP-L1660W:

1. Press Menu

2. Press Up or Down until General Setup appears → press OK

3. Select Replace Toner → press OK

4. Select Continue → press OK

5. Press Stop/Exit to finish
